About Glenn Gingrich Inc.

“Bruce is there to listen as you describe the vision and dreams for your home, he brings his experience and insights as he collaborates with you to develop plans and make selections, he supervises as his team builds your dream.  And, he is there at completion to raise a glass in a toast to a job well done.”                                                           Kevin Martin

Glenn Gingrich, Inc. is a residential design firm and a custom builder based in New Holland, PA.  Our team executes projects from conception to completion.  These projects are all highly individualized, ranging from single rooms (home libraries, custom kitchens, master baths) to room additions, whole house remodels and new custom homes.

We work with the client to design a space or entire home, and we take responsibility for coordinating the site engineering, obtaining all permits, specifying the work, ensuring that local building codes are met, and recommending materials and finishes for paint, flooring, cabinetry and mill work, landscaping, etc.  We then managing the construction itself.

Our founder Glenn Gingrich started the company in 1965.  During his tenure at the helm, he built and remodeled homes, did remodeling and additions on churches, developed land, designed and built passive solar homes and did commercial construction and renovations.  Glenn is retired from the operation of the company but continues to critique designs and provide insight into the challenges of running a construction company.  Glenn is currently the chairmen of the board at Superior Walls of America, a company that builds precast basement walls.

Our current president Bruce Gingrich, puts an unusual combination of experiences and skills to work for our clients.  Starting as a laborer for the company at the age of 13 and working on the job site during vacations and breaks both in high school and college gives Bruce a thorough understanding of construction, literally from the ground up.  His degree in Industrial Arts introduced him to the skills needed to work with many different materials in multiple disciplines.  Bruce paid his way through school working backstage, mainly in lighting, at the Historic Fulton Opera House, as well as several different performing arts organizations at Millersville University.   To fulfill his humanities requirements he took advanced courses in set design as well as jewelry making.  His artistic skills were furthered during a stint one fall as a blacksmith.  Bruce is also an accomplished cook, bringing that understanding to his kitchen design.

“After over 20 years in the business, I continue to be fascinated with the entire building process and enjoy working hands-on with my clients.”
